About Me

Choosing To Live A Healthier Life

I have always been someone who really loves to get out there and enjoy time with other people, which is why I started becoming more and more involved in outdoor activities. Unfortunately, a few months ago I was left with a debilitating injury that I knew I had to resolve, and so I met with my medical care provider. He told me that I had been living with a stress fracture, and I knew that I had to have surgery to get it fixed. During my recovery, I decided to create a blog all about health and medical topics to help other people just like me. Check it out.

Undergoing a catastrophic injury merit screening could be an essential step in qualifying you for benefits.

You may have been asked to undergo a catastrophic injury merit screening by an insurance company or a government agency. If so, undergoing this screening is a necessary and essential step in getting the compensation or benefits that you are seeking.

You may need to provide some information on your medical history during your catastrophic injury merit screening.

It's important that you're thoroughly familiar with the details of your medical history and that you bring along any medical history documentation you might need to answer questions during your screening.

At a catastrophic injury merit screening, it's important to answer questions and provide information on your medical history, diagnosis of the injury in question, and prognosis.

You may need to have bloodwork done as part of your catastrophic injury merit screening.

Depending on the type of injury your catastrophic injury merit screening is finding information about, you might need to undergo bloodwork as part of the procedure.

It's important when you go in to be well rested and to have eaten a proper meal to avoid low blood sugar during your screening if you have to have blood taken as part of the procedure.

Mental health evaluations are sometimes included in catastrophic injury merit screenings.

Catastrophic injury merit screenings often screen individuals who have suffered from brain injuries. This makes it so that mental health evaluations are commonly included as part of screenings.

Therefore, individuals undergoing a screening procedure need to be prepared to undergo a mental health evaluation and answer questions about their mental health as part of the procedure.

You shouldn't let yourself get stressed out over a catastrophic injury merit screening.
